Horseback Riding Lessons

Camp Westminster’s horseback riding program is the perfect way to immerse your rider in their passion for horses! Our lessons are designed for beginner to advanced riders, with instruction matched to their individual abilities in small groups or private sessions. Lessons can be taught in both English and Western riding styles. In addition to lots of time in the saddle, participants receive instruction on horse care, health, and training.

Private Lessons- 1 hour each

Single lesson – $45
4 lessons – $172 ($43 per lesson)
8 lessons – $320 ($40 per lesson)

Group Lessons- 1 hour each

4 lessons – $140 ($35 per lesson)
8 lessons – $256 ($32 per lesson)
12 lessons – $360 ($30 per lesson)

Trail Rides:

Saddle up for a fun ride through Camp Westminster’s wooded trails. Trail rides (for ages 10 years and over) are a great activity for groups; bring your family, friends, or coworkers for an exciting experience! We can accommodate up to 8 riders on each trail ride, which last approximately 1 hour.

Trail Rides – $35 per person

Birthday Parties:

Come celebrate your birthday with barn games, riding a horse, and more! We have several birthday party packages to choose from to make this birthday extra special for your child. Have your party at our barn where you can groom, give treats, and ride a horse, plus play fun barn games!

Or, we can bring the horse to you! We have party packages for your own party venue with pony rides and fun, themed dress-up options for amazing party photos.

Barn Birthday Party Packages!

Scout Troops:

Come out to the barn for a great time while earning your horsemanship merit badges.
Our barn manager can tailor your activities to your badge requirements.

Homeschool Groups:

Take an exciting field trip to the barn and learn about equine sciences, care, and anatomy. You can also learn to groom, saddle, and ride a horse!
