The Forge Internship

A Christ-Centered Internship That Shapes Who You’re Becoming

The Forge Internship is a 12–24 month transformational leadership and ministry development program at Camp Westminster, designed for young adults who want to grow spiritually, professionally, and personally. Through hands-on ministry, intentional discipleship, structured learning, and mentorship, interns are refined as Christ-centered leaders, equipped to serve with excellence at camp and carry that impact into every area of life.

What is The Forge Internship?

The Forge is more than a summer job or internship—it’s an intentional season of growth. Interns serve alongside full-time staff in the daily operations of Camp Westminster while engaging in leadership development, ministry experience, and guided reflection.

Every aspect of the program is designed to help interns deepen their faith, build real-world skills, and gain clarity in their calling—whether that leads to ministry, the workplace, or further education.

Who is The Forge For?

The Forge Internship is designed for young adults ages 18–24 who:

  • Desire to grow in their relationship with Christ

  • Want real leadership and ministry experience

  • Are eager to learn, be mentored, and be challenged

  • Can balance responsibility, reflection, and personal or academic commitments

  • Align with Camp Westminster’s Beliefs & core values: Represent Christ, Make It Better, Communicate, Collaborate

What You Will Experience

Interns will embark on a 12–24 month journey designed to build faith, leadership, and professional expertise:

Encounter intentional challenges that cultivate resilience, self-awareness, and perseverance through hands-on ministry, team initiatives, and leadership projects.​

Receive consistent mentorship, coaching, and accountability through weekly reflection, one-on-one guidance, and structured skill development.​

Gain the confidence, practical skills, and clarity to serve Christ effectively in every area of life through ongoing ministry experience, leadership roles, and portfolio-building projects.
