Who can attend Camp Westminster?
Anyone can attend, within the age
requirements of a particular session.
We are not a camp just for our church or denomination.
How many campers come to a session?
If we are full, we will have 160 campers per session.
How many campers are there in each cabin?
There are up to, but not more than,
10 campers and two leaders in each cabin
What is the counselor ratio?
At least one counselor for every 5 campers.
Where do we get our staff?
Our staff are either older high school students, juniors
or seniors, or college students. By far the largest number of our staff come through
word of mouth referrals from campers and other staff. We also recruit at area Christian
colleges and through our camp mailing list.
Is there a nurse?
Good question. We will always try to have a nurse on
the premises. We do have a doctor less than 5 miles away who sees our campers.
Rockdale county emergency hospital is also close by.
Will my child be able to be with his friend?
Yes, but make sure you indicate that on the registration
form. Also, when you come on Sunday, friends should sign up for the same activity schedule also.
What activities do we have?
The camp day is divided into four activity periods, each lasting
1½ hours long. The activities include: Wide World of Sports (such as soccer,
volleyball, archery and other team/field games), Horseback Riding (we have 30 horses
and we try to ride each period, weather permitting), Water Sports (swimming in the
pool, paddleboating, canoeing, fishing), Arts and Crafts (a project to make and take home),
and much more.
Besides activities, what else do campers do?
Each morning, after breakfast, there is a Bible study in the cabin.
We then have two activity periods, then lunch, a 45 minute rest period, then two more activity
periods, then supper. Each day ends with a Vesper service of camp singing, Bible songs and a
short message from the staff. Then it's back to the cabins to prepare for bed.

included in the tuition.
What if we are sending more than one child?
There is a $35 tuition discount (not the registration fee) for
each sibling after the first child's full tuition is paid.
Does Camp Westminster have scholarship assistance?
Yes, we have limited ability to help with tuition. You must first
register and pay the $75 registration fee. You must make sure to mark the box on the form for
scholarship information. Your request will be evaluated and in most cases we are able to help.
What is the Refund Policy?
The $75 registration fee and $25 horseback registration are
non-refundable. Remaining tuition paid is fully refundable until two weeks prior to your
