			CamperMail!© FAQ

Q.	What is CamperMail?
A.	CamperMail! is a web based email program which we developed to
allow parents, other family members and friends to easily and
quickly communicate with their camper while at Camp Westminster.

Q.	Do I have to have an email program to use CamperMail?
A.	No. CamperMail is strictly web based. The email program is
located on the server that also hosts our web page.

Q.	Does it cost extra to use this program?
A.	No. This is a service we wish to provide to you, and for your
	convenience.

Q.	Why should I use CamperMail instead of regular US Mail?
A.	CamperMail can be sent at anytime from anywhere in the world
where you have internet access. If you are suddenly called
out of town on business, but still want to send a note to
your child, CamperMail can be delivered the next day rather
than next week. Plus you can save the postage.

Q.	Does CamperMail allow attachments?
A.	No. CamperMail is text only.

Q.	Is there a limit to the length of the messages?
A.	Technically - No. However, we would ask you to limit them to
no more than a single page and only one a day during our
	evaluation period.

Q.	Can my child respond with email?
A.	No. Your CamperMail will be sent directly to Camp Westminster's
camp office. The Campers do NOT have access to the internet, these
messages are printed and distributed to them daily, so they will
	not be replying by email.

Q.	Why do I need a UserID/Password?
A.	The security is there for the protection of the campers. We do
not want any emails, of which you are unaware, being sent to
your child. During our evaluation period, only messages that bear
the proper authorization code will be delivered. This is for your
child's protection. In the future, we may relax this policy if
conditions warrant, but the CamperMail area will continue to be
	password protected.

Q.	What is the difference between the User ID and the
	Authorization Code?
A.	The User ID and Password are required to access the CamperMail
section of the Camp Westminster web site. Everyone will use
the same User ID/Password during a particular session. The
Authorization Code will be your unique code for sending messages
to your camper once you are in the CamperMail section.

Q.	Who will have a password to the CamperMail section?
A.	Initially, the testing will be done during Junior 1 and offered
to a yet undetermined number of parents. If all goes well, then
all parents will be given a CamperMail packet at registration
time containing the User ID and Password for access the the CamperMail
section as well as a unique Authorization Code for their child.

Q.	Will the UserID / Password remain the same.
A.	No. The UserID / Password will change each session.

Q.	If I send two children to the same session will I have to have
	multiple Authorization Codes?
A.	No. We can link the one code to both children.

Q.	If I send my child to multiple sessions will I keep the same
	Authorization Code?
A.	Probably not. New Authorization Codes will be generated each
session. But there is a chance that the same Authorization Code
could be generated twice, but don't count on it.

Q.	Who will see the messages sent to my child?
A.	All messages are subject to being checked by authorized Camp
Westminster staff. This is to assure the proper delivery of
messages and, although they are not censored, inappropriate
material will not be delivered to the campers.

Q.	Why do you need my email address?
A.	Primarily, this is to help with verification of the sender.
Additionally, Camp Westminster may use these email addresses
	for marketing campaigns.

Q.	How do I know that my message has been sent properly?
A.	After you fill in all the required field and hit SEND, a
	"Successfully Sent" page will appear.

Q.	What if I have other questions?
A.	Send them to me at webmaster@campwestminster.org
